Children Lessons for children
Teaching children to ski is Skischool Wilder Kaiser’s speciality:
- Our professional certified Instructors who love teaching kids will patiently help your Ski Angels develop a passion for winter sports and encourage new skills and confidence!
- We have created our own unique Children’s skiing area a skip away from the hustle and bustle of the main slopes.
Our special children’s offers:
- Courses for 3-5 year old beginners: Specially designed half day course for first timers: Ski school Wilder Kaiser’s Bambini Course for 3-5 Year Olds.
- Courses for First Timers and beginner children at Ski school Wilder Kaiser St. Johann Beginners – may know the basics but cannot link turns confidently on terrain.
- Intermediate: Can link turns confidently and can ski unassisted down Blue Runs (Austrian Standards) or higher.
- The highest training level for children (on the mountain): Skiing academy St. Johann. Can ski confidently parallel down any of the standard of slopes in St. Johann in Tirol.
Children advanced: Red
For all children who feel happy on red slopes, want to improve their technique and have lots of fun.

Bambini
Ski school Wilder Kaiser St. Johann in Tirol offers a special programme for all 3 to 5 year old beginner skiers with a maximum of 5 children in a group. Your beloved Schikaiser will be perfectly looked after by our experienced Children’s Ski instructors.
The little ones will be introduced playfully to the wonderful world of skiing. Using special tracks, colourful figures and a conveyor belt lift (Sun KID), learning will be just a game!
Our own Kids' Activity Programme with our qualified Children's Host.
- Session times: Sunday to Thursday: 10.00 – 12.00
- Grading: Sunday & Monday (Group Begin)
Facts:
- Maximal 5 children per group
- Maximum skills with maximum safety
- Weekly ski race, Award Ceremony with a certificate and a medal
- Children aged 3-5 years
Beginner children/confdenc builder: Green
For Beginners: No previous experience required.
Having learned a confident snow plough turn in our own beginners' area, the kids will ski on blue slopes on the mountain in St. Johann.
For Confidence Builder: You have already had some lessons but still feel a little unsure about skiing on blue slopes? Then we have the perfect course for you. Your previous experience will be freshened up on the first day at our beginners' area. On the second day the children are ready for the blue slopes up on the mountain.

- The children are supervised and have lunch with the group and instructor in a restaurant.
- Weekly ski race, Award Ceremony with a certificate and a medal
- Lunchtime Supervision (by your group's ski instructor)
- Group Grading: Sunday and Monday
- On Fridays and Saturdays we don’t offer Group Courses. We are happy to provide Private Lessons with a private Instructor.
Intermediate children: Blue
The children are able to ski confidently on blue slopes and controlling turns is no problem. We divide the children according to their age and skiing ability and put them into suitable groups.
Of course the kids never miss out on the fun!

- Prerequisite: Ability to ski down the blue slopes safely and with confidence

- Group Grading: daily except Friday and Saturday (main group grading days are Sundays and Mondays)
- On Fridays and Saturdays we don’t offer group courses. We are happy to provide a private instructor.

Advanced Ability: Black
In this course we refine the technical aspects of your child's skiing. We concentrate on the steering phase of long and short turns. We practise the timing of the movement sequences as well as practising the pole plant. This programme not only concentrates on a varied technical programme to perfect edging skills but includes (as conditions allow) moguls and deep snow! Not forgetting to have fun, is always part of the package!

Kids Ski race
Facts:
- Every Thursday is our special event “Race Day”
- The race is free for all kids in a ski course on Thursday
- Award Ceremony is held in Café Rainer, at the end of the Race Day
- Every child receives a medal and a certificate
